Wikipedia says : favicon is a short for favourite icon,
also known as shortcut icon, Web site icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon.

This favicon makes your blog more unique and cool compare with others.

You can makes your own favicon.
This is my blog favicon.
by using your own picture, you can makes your own favicon.
Follow this steps:
1: go to your dashboard(1), then click 'Design'(2). You will see the favicon setting (3) and click 'edit'.
2 : There will be a pop-up windows like this.
click 'Choose File'(1) to choose your image for your blog favicon.
Important! the image must be square image and less than 100KB...
Then, save your change(2)..
3 : Then, click 'save' button(1). You can see your own favicon by click 'View Blog" button(2)..
